The Switch 12 S Pro will carry the same design as the current Switch 12 S. Thus, the Pro version will use the same magnetic dock for easy attaching and detaching between the display and its base. Overall, users have four different usage modes: Notebook, Tablet, Stand, and Display.
First SKUs include the Switch SW7-272P with the item number NT.LB8EG.003, This is More Best Feature Same With Acer Aspire V5-573 which will be equipped with 4 GB RAM, a 128 GB SSD, and a dual-core Intel Core m3-6Y30 SoC. A second SKU with the item number NT.LB8EG.004 will double the RAM and storage and will house an even faster Core m5-6Y54 SoC.
For stationary or desk use, the Switch 12 S Pro will be compatible with the new Acer Graphics Dock for external GPU (eGPU) support. The eGPU solution can be configured with up to a GeForce GTX 960M and includes numerous extra connectivity ports. The dock is made possible by the USB Type-C/Thunderbolt 3 port on the convertible similar to the Razer eGPU solution with the latest Blade Stealth notebook.
